Concrete Specifications
To ensure you get high-quality, durable concrete, the right specifications must be chosen for your mix, achieving a composition suitable for each application.
Choosing the Right Type of Concrete
Choosing the right concrete grade will depend on factors such as the strength of concrete required and its intended use. For example, you’ll want a different concrete mix for a shed base than you do for roadworks.
Once you know which type of concrete you need, the ideal mix of cement, water and ballast is used to create it, ready to be poured.

Here are some of the concrete grades we can supply and their possible applications.
Mixed On-Site to Your Specifications
At DSD, we supply concrete mixes for all types of jobs, whether you require domestic concrete supplies or want to order commercial concrete.
Our concrete is mixed on-site, so each batch can be tailored to your needs.
You can create several different strengths from one volumetric lorry and will only pay for the amount used.
When we arrive on-site, our highly skilled and knowledgeable operatives will guide you through the process.
How to Order
If you’d like a quote, you may want to calculate how much concrete you need, decide on the right specification for the job and any additional requirements such as hiring a concrete pump.
As we supply volumetric concrete, this makes it easier to tailor the job to your exact needs once we’re on-site. However, if you need any further advice about the type of concrete required, we’re happy to help.
